Manly Sea Eagles Players.
It was fantastic to be visited at Manly Brothers training by MB old boy Billy Bainbridge and his team mate Jackson Hastings.
These visits help the Manly Brothers players develop their skills and also help the Manly Sea Eagles develop their fan base amongst their most ardent fans. The integration with the Northern Beaches junior clubs is particularly important after the many rapid Manly Sea Eagles team changes that have taken place.
Manly Sea Eagles Coaches training night.
Manly Sea Eagles development squad coaches also held a training night for the Northern Beaches junior clubs coaches. Many thanks to Head Coach – Trent Barrett, Assistant Coach/Recruitment Manager – John Cartwright and Assistant Coach, NRL – Willie Peters who did a wonderful job passing on their knowledge at Brookie Oval.
URM Manly Sea Eagles Member Appreciation Day.
URM are one of the longest serving and most loyal of the Manly Sea Eagles sponsors. They are holding the URM Manly Sea Eagles Members Appreciation Day at Brookie Oval on Sunday, May 21 at 2:30pm-4:30pm.
So meet your favourite Sea Eagles players, the event will also feature entertainment and activities for the family.
Have fun and help a Northern Beaches girl to represent Australia.
Manly Brothers likes to support good local causes and the dinner for Pier Pritchard to represent Australia in the GridIron World Championship is one of them. Pier Pritchard is the Manly Redbacks Defensive Coach, who has had the honour of being selected for the Australian Women’s GridIron team in the World Championship which starts on the 24th June 2017.
As the GridIron season finishes before the Rugby League season starts (it runs from December to March), a number of our Manly Brothers players found this a great way to keep fit and develop their ball skills under Pier’s tuition and mentoring.
Pier’s challenge is that she has to raise at least $6,800 for flights and accommodation in order to represent our country. To meet this challenge there is a fundraiser dinner being held at Havana Beach Restaurant on Monday the 29th May at 6:30pm. Tickets are just $45 and include delicious Pacific Island and South American food. Havanas (who sponsored our Manly Brothers Life Members breakfast) is situated on South Steyne with panoramic views over Manly Beach. We hope you can join in.
