Manly Brothers at Brookie Oval
The Manly Sea Eagles are playing the Canberra Raiders at the Brookie Fortress at 3pm this Saturday. This is an important game as it was due to be the final home game for our gallant captain Jamie Lyon after 300+ games. Unfortunately Jamie did his hamstring in training and won’t be able to play, but he will be there for a meet and greet with all the fans. Jamie has been an amazing leader and has always had a smile and friendly word, whether wandering through Nolan’s Reserve or Warringah Mall. So let’s all turn out for a big Manly Brothers send off for him.
Another important reason to be there is that the half time entertainment will be a demonstration game between Manly Brothers Under 7s and those from the country town of Wee Waa. so please come and cheer for both sides.
IMPORTANT GAME CHANGES AT NOLAN’S
Nolan’s Reserve has again been water logged. This means that today’s Friday afternoon match with Wee Waa is OFF, but the BBQ to welcome them is still ON.
The Saturday Manly Brothers games have all been moved to Lionel Watts Park at Belrose, with the same times.
All the games we were hosting for other teams have been dispersed to alternative locations so we no longer need the volunteers for this week, but we will need them when we host finals games next week.
